Popular socialite and convener of the 'Ourmumudondo' movement, Charlyboy Oputa has reacted to the alleged invasion of the home of the leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu in Umuahia, Abia state. Charlyboy, in a statement made available to PoliticsNGR, advised the federal government to be more committed to dousing the rising tensions and fostering peace and unity. The statement read; "Our attention has been drawn to the recent detachment of soldiers from the Nigerian Army to the Afaraukwu country home of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, and the invasion of Abia State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists on Aba Road, Umuahia, which led to the destruction of laptops and other valuables thereby causing unnecessary panic within the state and the entire region. Akpororo was recently slammed by rapper Yung6ix after the comedian made a joke about the singer spending over 3 million naira on drinks rather than purchasing a hit song. His DJ, Timmy , also joined in and got really personal. He made videos calling out the comedian, saying his wife/mother of his child was once a sex slave and had aborted six times for a dancer. The DJ also threatened the comedian, saying "Your jokes would put you in trouble and make you get shot." Ying6ix has now admitted in an interview with HipTV that he reacted without seeing the video about the joke. According to him; At first when everybody started....I didn't get to see the full joke. Two of blue grass music's greatest stars, Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton, whose dramatic science generated hit two part harmonies likeIslands in the Stream and Real Love, will be making their last execution together this year.  Rogers, who is resigning from visiting, says his last execution with Parton will be a piece of an elite player goodbye show to be held at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on 25 October. The two have been performing together for over a long time since Islands in the Stream, composed by the Bee Gees, turned into a pop hybrid platinum hit in 1983.  Different entertainers for the goodbye indicate are Little Big Town, Flaming Lips, Idina Menzel, Elle King, Jamey Johnson and Alison Krauss, with more names to be reported. Rogers made the declaration on Tuesday at a question and answer session in Nashville. Tickets for the show will go marked down on 21 July. Cristiano Ronaldo has officially confirmed that his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez is pregnant with their first child together. When asked by Spanish website,  El Mundo  if he is looking forward to the baby on the way, the 32-year-old replied in Spanish: “Yes, very.” The confirmation comes after  Cristiano welcomed twins , Eva and Mateo, via a surrogate in June. The Real Madrid player announced their birth with a photo of the newborn babies on Instagram. Carmen Electra had the privilege of unveiling the hunky actor’s  Baywatch  wax figure for Madame Tussauds in Hollywood on Wednesday and they actually did a pretty good job of replicating Zac and his ripped abs. The wax figure is wearing those iconic red lifeguard shorts and red sneakers and is standing in front of the all too famous lifeguard house seen in the popular series and more recently the Baywatch  film. Angelina Jolie and Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt travelled to Namibia for the opening of a new wildlife sanctuary named after the 11-year-old. Angie has always had a special relationship with the southwest African country as Shiloh was born in Swakopmund, Namibia in 2006. In honour of Shiloh’s relation to the country Angelina along with Shiloh and the rest of her siblings visited Namibia to open the  Shiloh Wildlife Sanctuary . The new sanctuary is funded by the  Jolie-Pitt Foundation  and was established through a collaboration with the  N/a’an ku sê Foundation  and Namibia's Ministry of Environment and Tourism. According to the foundation’s site the sanctuary was opened “to assist and care for any rhinos or elephants that have been injured or orphaned in a poaching incident.” People magazine  reports the name of the sanctuary came as a surprise to young Shiloh and that “her face lit up when she saw the sanctuary for the first time.” SEE PICS ...
