tom holland admits to complicated robert downey jnr with his stunt double



On Tuesday night’s show Graham Norton welcomes Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg, British actoress Sienna Miller, Spiderman himself young British actor Tom Holland, actors Woody Harrelson and Andy Serkis, and singer songwriter Alison Moyet.

In just days until  Spiderman: Homecoming will hit cinemas worldwide. 
Tom describes being cast as Spiderman as "surreal." He says: "My life has flipped upside down in the last few weeks.". 
Asked about auditioning for the role and being one of 1500 actors up for it, he says: “It was a crazy process. The further I got down the line the more I really wanted the job and every day was searching the internet for any bit of news of casting. After about five or six months of auditioning Marvel posted on their website that I was the new Spiderman. I thought they would call me at least! Marvel apologise about it all the time and I think they told me not to tell anyone… I have been travelling the world telling that story over and over again!”
Talking more about the audition process, he says: “I got very nervous about meeting Robert Downey Jnr as I have been a fan of his my entire life and when I met him I was thinking, “You look different in person, something isn’t quite the same. And then Robert walked in and I realised I had been chatting to his stunt double!”
